We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal Specialist to join our dynamic legal team at Jobot. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive litigation support to our team of attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process.
- Conduct extensive legal research, review, and analyze complex legal documents.
- Utilize iConect software for managing, organizing, and reviewing legal documents and case materials.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, briefs, motions, and subpoenas.
- Coordinate and manage the production of discovery documents.
- Assist in the preparation for depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings.
- Maintain and update case files, dockets, and deadlines.
- Liaise with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other legal professionals.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
- Paralegal Certification from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in using iConect software and other legal databases.
- In-depth knowledge of legal research techniques, litigation procedures, and document management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
