Senior Financial Analyst, Consolidations and Reporting

Position Summary:
We are in search of a dedicated and skilled accounting professional eager to elevate their career. The successful candidate will excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt seamlessly to the innovative culture of our organization. This position is crucial to our corporate accounting team, focusing on enhancing the close and consolidation processes to achieve top-tier results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and conduct account analyses for external general ledger accounting.
- Facilitate journal entries and account analyses for internal legal entity restructuring.
- Assist in the governance and maintenance of the chart of accounts.
- Engage in consolidation activities during monthly close, including foreign currency remeasurement and translation.
- Support cross-functional teams, including revenue, tax, and cost accounting, with journal entry postings and account analyses.
- Conduct general account reconciliations and analyses for assigned accounts.
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet fluctuation analyses.
- Generate monthly reporting schedules for executives, providing insights and noting fluctuations from previous periods.
- Participate in business transformation initiatives aimed at streamlining and enhancing the financial close process.
- Support Sarbanes-Oxley documentation for key balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly SEC financial reports, including cash flow statements and disclosures.
- Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and special projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including expertise in general accounting, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.
- Public accounting/audit experience with a CPA certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP and Oracle systems is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Self-driven with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to address and resolve challenges in a fast-paced setting.
