Job Summary:

Anchorage Comprehensive Treatment Center is seeking a qualified Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team. As a Substance Use Disorder Counselor, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients seeking recovery from opioid use disorder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  • Conduct initial and follow-up assessments to evaluate patient progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and case management services as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a social or health services field.
  • Chemical Dependency Certification (CDC) I or II required.
  • Prior experience in addiction recovery and/or medication-assisted treatment (MAT) environment preferred.
