Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and Assess Patients: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans to address their physical, social, and mental limitations.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement treatment plans that promote patient independence, mobility, and overall well-being.
  • Provide Therapy Interventions: Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to patients, including exercises, activities, and education to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Document Patient Progress: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient progress, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent required; Master's degree preferred; two years of occupational therapy experience preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
