POSITION OVERVIEW:
The role involves providing essential physical therapy services through comprehensive assessment of patient requirements, establishing treatment objectives, and formulating rehabilitation strategies in alignment with established physical therapy methodologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver direct physical therapy interventions to patients, adhering to the regulations set forth by the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Practice, ethical standards, and departmental protocols for the provision of limited physical therapy services.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and offer constructive feedback to peers in a respectful manner. Recommend topics for performance enhancement and alternative therapeutic approaches to elevate occupational therapy services.
Take initiative in addressing or escalating clinical and operational challenges to departmental leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and the smooth functioning of departmental operations.
