Broadcast Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Broadcast Engineer to join our team at Wave. As a Broadcast Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our broadcast networks and equipment.

• Provide technical support for broadcast operations, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of broadcast networks and equipment.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to evaluate and resolve technical issues, including monitoring system status, diagnosing problems, and recommending solutions.
• Assist with editing and production support as needed.

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or broadcast engineering.
• Associate's degree in engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of network cables, connectors, and signal types.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Valid driver's license for authorized driving in the state of residence.

• SBE (Society of Broadcast Engineers) certifications, including CBTE and CBNE.
• FCC General Class License.
• Network certifications, such as CCNA.

• Office environment with occasional travel for equipment failure or other issues.
• 15% travel required, where applicable.

The base pay for this position generally is between $75,200.00 and $120,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
