We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Operations Supervisor to lead multiple crews in delivering exceptional hydro blasting and vacuuming services at industrial facilities.
Responsibilities- Provide guidance, mentorship, and development to team members, ensuring they are well-trained in all aspects of their roles and adhere to company and client policies.
- Oversee the performance and attendance of your assigned staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain a meticulous focus on safety by enforcing OSHA guidelines, policies, and procedures. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and conduct regular inspections.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of hydro blast pumps (10K, 20K, 40K) and liquid vacuum and air machine trucks.
- Effectively load out and manage hydro blast and vacuum truck jobs, ensuring all necessary equipment is available for safe and efficient completion of the assigned scope.
- Conduct thorough pre-job inspections of both the worksite and equipment to identify potential hazards or issues.
- Prepare comprehensive Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and all required safety documentation.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Contribute to general equipment maintenance by performing routine service, greasing, and cleaning tasks.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment by participating in housekeeping duties such as sweeping floors, removing trash, and maintaining designated areas.
- Assist with future job load-outs or unloads from previous jobs, ensuring proper return of equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) to designated locations.
- Complete all required time sheets and administrative paperwork accurately and within established deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in the hydro blasting and vacuuming field is preferred.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with team members, clients, and management.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel out of town up to 25% of the time as required by project needs.
- Physical capability to perform all job duties, including lifting at least 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, climbing, balancing, bending/stooping, and kneeling.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including shifts up to 12-16 hours (day or night), both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
