Job Description

Tutor Me Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate tutor to provide one-on-one in-home tutoring to students with special education needs in Coachella, CA.

  • As a tutor, you will work closely with students to develop customized lesson plans and teaching strategies that align with their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
  • You will be responsible for conducting one-on-one tutoring sessions, adapting instructional methods and materials to cater to the unique learning styles and requirements of each student.
  • Collaboration with classroom teachers, parents, and special education teams is essential to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students who have special education needs.
  • Develop and implement customized lesson plans and teaching strategies that align with each student's IEP.
  • Adapt instructional methods, materials, and assessments to cater to the unique learning styles and requirements of each student.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to instructional techniques as needed.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and special education teams to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a background check if required.
