Position Overview:
The successful candidates will engage in the installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems, focusing on fiber optic networks and power systems. Responsibilities will include reviewing and rectifying as-built designs for complex fiber networking, particularly in Multi-Dwelling Unit settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Skill Level 1:
- Entry-level technicians or those returning after a hiatus from telecommunications.
- Deliver exceptional integration services and customer support.
- Work under the guidance of more experienced technicians.
- Perform basic installation tasks and learn to use various tools safely.
- Skill Level 2:
- Minimum of 1.5 years of relevant experience.
- Exceed customer expectations in service delivery.
- Assist in the installation of cabinets, cable management systems, and basic DC power setups.
- Skill Level 3:
- At least 2 years of experience with a focus on leading technician responsibilities.
- Oversee the work of junior technicians and ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct thorough analysis of job documentation and prepare methods of procedure.
- Skill Level 4:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with advanced capabilities in field management.
- Lead complex installations and oversee the work of all skill levels.
- Perform equipment testing, software upgrades, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong organizational mindset.
Work Schedule:
Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime as needed.
Compensation:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement options.
