Position Overview:

The Cannabis Retail Specialist plays a crucial role in guiding customers through their cannabis journey by providing education on product benefits and potential side effects. This position requires a solid understanding of various products and their effects, coupled with exceptional customer service skills. The primary responsibility is to facilitate customer purchases in compliance with state regulations while ensuring a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to clients, guests, and colleagues.
  • Exhibit empathy and compassion towards patients.
  • Provide an elevated customer experience through exceptional service standards and product knowledge.
  • Assist management with returns in line with company policies.
  • Efficiently prepare and process patient orders.
  • Adhere to Trulieve's policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the on-duty leader to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Address any product or device issues for customers.
  • Work with management to resolve customer concerns.
  • Document customer feedback and issues in their profiles.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • As a Delivery Associate, a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Follow all policies and procedures as a delivery associate.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in retail or a related field preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old (or 18 in certain states).
  • Prior experience in retail or customer service is advantageous.
  • Experience with cash handling is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and interact with diverse personalities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to work effectively without supervision and in a team setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
  • Respectful and polite interaction with customers and team members.
  • Competence in conversational English for effective communication.
  • Must possess the mental and physical abilities required for the job.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to move throughout the facility and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to handle objects of varying sizes and weights, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform tasks such as crouching, kneeling, and ascending/descending steps.

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible hours based on store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • This position may require up to 25 hours per week.
