About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Engineering Lead to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our digital engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and upgrades of defense systems by directing digital engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead digital engineering and MBSE activities to design and develop defense systems
  • Direct a diverse team of technically competent engineers to evolve defense systems with advanced technology solutions
  • Develop and execute model-based testing using systems models with linked engineering tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to merge technical engineering expertise and model-based engineering to create digital engineering solutions
  • Develop and maintain authoritative lifecycle data, tool chains, digital threads, and digital twins
Requirements
  • Experience with systems engineering activities and the application of MBSE tools
  • Experience leading engineering teams and managing projects
  • Knowledge of core systems and digital engineering concepts, including model-based design and model-based systems engineering
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting engineering tools, including Dassault 3DS, SBE Vision, IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, ModelCenter, TeamCenter, MATLAB, STK, and CAD tools such as Creo
  • Experience in a Department of Defense program acquisition office
  • Experience conceptualizing military problems, decomposing high-level missions systems modeling, and developing detailed designs in a systems model in support of product development
  • Experience developing and executing model-based testing using the systems model with linked engineering tools
  • Knowledge of linking analytical and engineering tools in a digital thread
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • SysML OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) Certification
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including CSEP or ASEP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193, annualized USD.
