Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead and facilitate projects that establish and improve manufacturing capabilities using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and propose innovative solutions.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact.
  • Facilitate the adoption of best practices in project management and process optimization.
  • Oversee the documentation and updating of processes to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Research and implement new technologies or methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience with leading efforts to establish or improve production of electromechanical assemblies using Lean and Six Sigma techniques to deliver measurable benefit to the client.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse set of stakeholders to establish data-driven goals, build consensus, and deliver results with limited organizational authority.
  • Ability to communicate succinctly, turning complex operations into key points, for leadership's understanding and buy-in.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and 5+ years of experience with delivering measurable benefit to the client.
  • Black Belt Certification in Six Sigma and Lean.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working in, for, or with the U.S. military.
  • Knowledge of munitions and weapon systems.
  • Master's degree.
  • PMP Certification.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172, annualized USD.
