Golden Aluminum is seeking a skilled Forklift Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our forklift fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and maintain forklift trucks to ensure they are working properly and safely.
  • Identify and repair any forklift trucks that require maintenance.
  • Remove unsafe equipment from the facility operating area and notify your supervisor.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of forklift trucks.
  • Test forklift trucks to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
Requirements:
  • Ability to use hand and power tools to repair forklift trucks.
  • Ability to read repair manuals for various types of forklift trucks.
  • Excellent mechanical repair skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals and procedures.
  • Basic Microsoft computer skills and fundamental math skills.
  • Completion of forklift truck mechanics training course suggested, but not required.
