Job Overview

Golden Aluminum is a leading manufacturer of aluminum products, and we are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team. As a Production Technician, you will play a critical role in the daily operation of our heavy, moderately complex foundry equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the continuous flow of product while maintaining quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor machine calibrations and adjust as required to maintain optimal performance.
  • Set up and tear down machines safely, following all safety protocols.
  • Maintain quality control levels as set by Golden Aluminum.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Pass a pre-employment drug test based on federal law.
  • Work any shift, 12 hours per shift, alternating day/nights every 6 weeks.
  • Have basic Microsoft computer skills and possess basic/fundamental math skills.
  • Work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Have strong attention to detail, identifying defects and suggesting corrections.
  • Be physically able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
