Role Overview:

The Senior IT Program Coordinator will be responsible for the identification, planning, and orchestration of a series of interconnected projects within the technology and digital transformation initiatives. This role is pivotal in managing project interdependencies to align with strategic business objectives. The coordinator will utilize project management methodologies to oversee and regulate project timelines, scope, quality, budget, and performance risks for multiple intricate technology projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive program planning strategies.
  • Establish and implement long-term objectives to ensure successful program outcomes.
  • Oversee the execution of program activities.
  • Facilitate the achievement of program goals and deliverables.
  • Ensure timely task completion while adhering to program schedules and deadlines.
  • Evaluate program and project risks, creating effective mitigation strategies, and manage project budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Lead high-priority projects requiring extensive resources and collaboration with project sponsors and teams.
  • Conduct program meetings with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Implement and manage a project change control process to maintain project scope.
  • Identify and resolve program and project challenges to meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Prepare and disseminate program communications.
  • Ensure all stakeholders receive necessary orientation and training.
  • Conduct regular program status updates.
  • Manage the overall program budget.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in program/project management (e.g., Project Lead, SCRUM Master, Agile Coach) with technical teams.
  • Proficient in methodologies such as Agile, Lean, Kanban, and Waterfall, with a strong ability to blend these approaches for effective collaboration.
  • Capability to comprehend architectural and technical dimensions of projects.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication (both written and verbal), and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with Agile Application Lifecycle Management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with Agile technical practices, DevOps, and testing methodologies (CI/CD, TDD).
  • Proven experience in coaching teams on project management methodologies.
  • Experience in budget management and complex cost-benefit analysis.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and collaborate effectively within a matrix organization.
  • Experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical project management experience in the retail sector.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Agile Certifications (CSM; PMI-ACP; CSPO; SAFe; LeSS).

  • Bachelor's degree required.
