We are seeking a highly skilled Forensics/Malware Senior Analyst to join our team at Federal IT Consulting. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for conducting forensics and analyzing files and malicious code to identify potential security threats.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of captured data, system images, and other data formats to identify potential security threats.
  • Develop and implement procedures and scripts to identify and analyze malicious code.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand higher-level adversary capabilities.
  • Document and improve processes and procedures by producing knowledge transfer material and forensic and malware analysis reports.
  • Perform other support duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of technical requirements and the ability to perform those requirements at task order start date.
  • Must have equal or higher qualifications and experience.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
Education and Certifications:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
  • GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) certification is required.
Clearance:
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance is required.
