Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Position Overview:

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role requires direct interaction with children, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to improve their social, communication, and adaptive skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Record and collect data on each client's progress and behavior.
  • Provide consistent positive reinforcement for appropriate behaviors.
  • Assist clients in developing functional skills to promote independence.
  • Maintain regular communication with BCBAs, parents, and team members.
  • Attend ongoing training and professional development sessions.
  • Maintain RBT certification and meet all training requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience working with children with ASD is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.
  • Ability to follow behavior plans and data collection procedures accurately.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for in-home services).
  • Ability to pass a background check

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year.
