Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at QPS Employment Group. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting various NC/CNC lathes and machining centers to produce parts to required tolerances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts with high precision and accuracy
  • Ensure machines are properly configured and calibrated for optimal performance
  • Read and understand blueprints to produce parts within specified tolerances
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding
  • Maintain records of productivity, quality, and safety
Requirements
  • Proficient in using micrometers and dial calipers for quality checks
  • Able to frequently stand, bend, and lift up to 30lbs
  • Adequate reading and writing skills to follow work orders and prepare simple production reports
  • Sufficient corrected vision to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts
  • Good manual dexterity to operate equipment properly
