Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and lead a team of dietary staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Meal Planning and Preparation: Oversee meal planning, preparation, and service, ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions and regulations.
- Nutrition Care Planning: Collaborate with the Dietician to develop and implement nutrition care plans that cater to the diverse needs of our patients and residents.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage budgets effectively to ensure efficient operations.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to dietary services, including meal planning, inventory management, and staff performance.
- Previous Experience: Previous healthcare experience in a dietary or food service role, preferably in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Knowledge and Skills: Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary therapies, as well as strong organizational and decision-making skills.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Ability to Work in a Dynamic Environment: Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a dedication to upholding high standards of quality and service.
