Healthcare Environment Technician

Crothall Healthcare is seeking an experienced Painter to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and finishing work across multiple hospital locations. This role requires expertise in preparing, painting, and finishing surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and trim, while adhering to hospital safety, hygiene, and infection control standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and paint application processes. You will work closely with the facilities team to ensure that all painting projects are completed on time, with minimal disruption to hospital operations. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and priming as necessary to achieve a smooth finish.
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other surfaces within the hospital.
- Select appropriate paints and coatings based on the surface type, location, and hospital standards, ensuring the use of low-VOC and environmentally safe products when required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour.
