Job Title: Travel Nurse RN ICU Specialist

Job Summary:

The Travel Nurse RN ICU Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting. This is a 13-week contract position with a 36-hour workweek, offering a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations, to identify potential health risks and develop strategies for prevention and intervention.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current Wisconsin license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion
  • Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension
  • Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
