Job Summary:The Travel Nurse ICU RN will be responsible for evaluating and monitoring patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting. This includes providing basic bedside care, preparing and administering medication, ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests, and communicating with patients' families.
Responsibilities:- Provide basic bedside care to patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
- Prepare and administer medication as prescribed by physicians.
- Order and evaluate diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment.
- Communicate with patients' families to provide updates on their condition.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
- ACLS and BLS certification.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
