Job Title: QC Technician

At Duplitech, we are seeking a highly skilled QC Technician to join our team in the Torrance facility. This part-time, on-call position is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of content delivery solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct linear testing on video, audio, and subtitle tracks, as well as menu and disc navigation and player compatibility.
  • Perform film restoration QC, including dirt, flicker, and artifact removal.
  • Verify digital QC, including platform expectations and requirements.
  • Conduct S&P and Master QC, ensuring the highest level of quality.
  • Emulate QC of authored DVD and BD disc images and replica samples.
  • Prepare detailed reports of errors and anomalies.
  • Communicate effectively with QC Managers and other Duplitech staff.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in DVD/Blu-ray testing or digital/master QC.
  • Film restoration QC experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving knowledge of testing procedures.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends is preferred.
