Job Title: Protective Security Officer

At Security Watch, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Protective Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our facilities, ensuring the well-being of our employees, and upholding the highest standards of security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control access to our facilities, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing assistance as needed.
  • Enforce security protocols and procedures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the integrity of our facilities.
  • Prepare and submit reports on activities and incidents, providing detailed information on security events.
  • Conduct personnel and vehicle screening, ensuring all individuals and vehicles meet our security standards.
  • Provide first aid and assist first responders as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals on site.
Requirements:
  • Must be a United States citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident with verifiable honorable discharge from any component of the United States Armed Forces.
  • Must have been issued a Social Security Card by the Social Security Administration.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of two years of security (armed) or one year of law enforcement experience in a full-duty status with a full-service police department in a municipality, state, or federal law enforcement department within the US, or two years of honorable service as a member of any US Armed Forces component.
  • Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and compose written reports in English.
  • Must pass a background check and obtain the necessary security clearance.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and firearm license/permit.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly wage of $32.81.
  • Health and Welfare benefits of $5.80 per hour.
  • Additional compensation of $1.00 - $3.00 may be available at sites requiring a Secret or top-secret clearance.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and 401k (if paid via health and welfare benefit, there is no separate company contribution).
  • Paid leave for full-time employees is from hours per year based on longevity in the position.
  • Sick leave is 80 hours per year for a full-time employee.
