About the Job

We're seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair complex issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • ASE certification in diesel engines and other relevant areas
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a non-climate-controlled environment
