About the Job

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete maintenance tasks and repairs
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to troubleshoot and repair issues
  • Keep a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
  • 6 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications a plus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
