Position Overview:

Prairie State College is in search of qualified adjunct faculty to deliver instruction in HVAC courses.
The role involves fostering and enhancing student learning by developing course outlines in alignment with curriculum standards; overseeing, guiding, and evaluating academic performance; ensuring a secure and supportive educational environment.
Instructors will educate students on the principles, practical applications, and troubleshooting techniques related to heating and air conditioning systems, demonstrating expertise in the field.
Adherence to all educational policies and procedures of Prairie State College is essential. Responsibilities also include maintaining student records and engaging in curriculum enhancement and updates.
The ideal candidate will possess a flexible schedule to accommodate teaching responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications:

A minimum of three years' experience in the heating and air conditioning sector is required.
Possession of a current Universal 608 EPA License
Proven experience and skill in the installation and maintenance of various residential and light commercial HVAC systems.

Attributes such as motivation, commitment, professionalism, integrity, and a passion for teaching are essential.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in teaching and training is preferred
