Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will operate X-ray and Diagnostic Imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures, including X-rays and other diagnostic imaging modalities, with minimal supervision.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment in good working order, clean and disinfect equipment after each use, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Department Support: Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual, monitor medical supply inventory, and assist with training new associates.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
  • Licensure: Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Certifications: Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification and certification in imaging specialty.
  • Experience: Training and experience sufficient to competently perform DTI procedures independently.
