Are you an experienced mechanic with a talent for ensuring operational efficiency? This role as a Production Mechanic is crucial for the upkeep and enhancement of our manufacturing equipment. This mid-level position requires your knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, including encapsulation machines, rotary tablet presses, and blister packaging machines.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), equipment manuals, and regulatory guidelines to maintain quality and compliance.
- Execute equipment setups, changeovers, and repairs while minimizing production interruptions.
- Engage with suppliers and maintain precise documentation of maintenance activities.
- Associate's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a cGMP setting.
- Proficient understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage stress, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with programmable logic controllers.
- Competitive compensation starting at $26-$30/hr
- Full-time evening shift availability
