Role Summary

The Construction Project Coordinator plays a crucial role within the project management team, assisting the Project Manager during the construction and project completion phases.

This position involves direct interaction with field personnel for project organization, scheduling, modifications, and finalization. The Coordinator will manage various projects, including multi-family, commercial, and residential developments. This role also serves as the company's representative to clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, operating in a fast-paced, technical, and dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate project initiation, site setup, administrative tasks, and project closure.
  • Analyze specifications and determine necessary submissions, develop submission timelines, and communicate any scope alterations.
  • Review, distribute, and monitor submissions to ensure project compliance.
  • Coordinate, track, and assess shop drawings for adherence to project standards.
  • Assist and document daily project coordination for the project team.
  • Maintain and update project schedules, logistics, site-specific safety protocols, and quality assurance plans.
  • Support field staff in conveying expectations and guidance to subcontractors regarding schedules, construction techniques, company policies, permits, safety, sustainability, quality control, and other performance benchmarks.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capability to endure extended periods of walking and standing.
  • Ability to navigate uneven surfaces or confined spaces.
  • Capacity to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Competence in safely climbing ladders or stairs.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Capacity to manage noise levels in moderate to high decibel environments.
Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in interpreting plans, specifications, contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Experienced in planning, scheduling, and production processes.
