Job Title: Millwright

Thalle Construction Co. Inc. is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in our heavy civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, dismantle, and repair machinery and equipment according to blueprints and plans.
  • Move machinery using power tools, dollies, rollers, and hoists.
  • Utilize laser alignment tools, micrometers, and other precision instruments to ensure accurate installations.
  • Test and diagnose systems for functionality and repair.
  • Evaluate and repair HVAC equipment and other mechanical systems.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Millwright or equivalent.
  • Ability to read blueprints and sketches.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
