**Job Summary**

As a Cook at Sodexo, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards. This role involves reading recipes and product directions, estimating food requirements, and operating various kitchen utensils to prepare hot and cold foods. You will also assist in the storage of food and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Read and follow recipes and product directions to prepare food
* Estimate food requirements to ensure adequate supplies
* Operate kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain, season, and knead foodstuffs
* Assist in the preparation of hot and cold foods
* Properly store food to maintain quality and safety

**Requirements**

* Ability to read and follow recipes and product directions
* Basic math skills to estimate food requirements
* Ability to operate kitchen utensils safely and efficiently
* Good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues
