Clinical Nurse I

The Clinical Nurse I is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing direct patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress, identifying and reporting any changes or concerns.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness.
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible for compact state licensure.
- Completion of a professional nursing program recognized by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
- Ability to work all three shifts, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility in scheduling.
- Experience as an LPN, nursing assistant, or care partner in an acute care setting.
- Academic healthcare experience or experience with similar patient populations.
This role requires prolonged standing, frequent bending, and the ability to lift 20-50 pounds. The work environment may involve exposure to potentially hazardous and infectious substances.
