Clinical Nurse I

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our team at the Stroke Center. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.
Responsibilities- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Performance Improvement: Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based solutions.
- Chart Auditing and Review: Conduct thorough reviews of patient charts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter patient data into our electronic health record system.
- Evaluating Opportunities for Improvement and Gaps in Care: Analyze patient data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Abstraction: Extract relevant data from patient charts to support quality improvement initiatives.
- Clinical Nurse I: N/A
- Clinical Nurse II: 12-24 months of RN experience
- Clinical Nurse III: 3 years of clinical experience
- Clinical Nurse I: Experience as an LPN, nursing assistant, or care partner in an acute care setting
- Clinical Nurse II and III: Academic health care experience and experience with similar patient populations
- Clinical Nurse I, II, and III: Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program recognized and/or approved by the corresponding state's Board of Nursing
- Clinical Nurse III: Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher) from an accredited program
- Prolonged standing and sitting
- Frequent bending and walking
- Strong recall, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Monday-Friday, business hours. Includes quality assurance/metrics, process improvement, chart audits, abstraction, and data entry.
