ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following duties are essential to the role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

- Contributes to agency growth by enhancing, rounding, and maintaining existing business that aligns with the agency's standards for acceptable operations.

- Services an assigned portfolio of existing Salem Five Insurance Services LLC (SF Insurance Services) clients by addressing all their insurance and risk management requirements.

- Provides exceptional service and support to all new and existing clients.

- Adheres to standardized departmental procedures, including renewals, ongoing service, and new business submissions.

- Identifies markets that will assist in new business placements.

- Places insurance contracts with various carriers.

- Collaborates with producers on new business initiatives, including marketing, quoting, and proposal preparation. Offers insights on coverage, limits, and other risk management topics.

- Reviews all insurance policies for accuracy. After billing is completed, communicates renewal changes to clients via written correspondence.

- Maintains a high sensitivity level regarding error ratios and omissions in account service.

- Ensures compliance with banking laws and regulations as outlined in company policies and procedures relevant to the position.

- Attends weekly department meetings prepared to discuss new business, lost business, at-risk renewals, ongoing quotes, and any issues pertinent to insurance carriers or clients.

- Regular attendance is crucial for this position.

- Takes on additional responsibilities as requested.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of five years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CPCU and CIC designations are preferred. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and various rating programs is required. Familiarity with an advanced agency management system is essential. Ability to navigate complex insurance issues, including designing comprehensive insurance programs based on risk analysis, is a must. Knowledge of bonds is an asset.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
CPCU and CIC preferred. Valid Driver's License required.
