Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Providence Medical Foundation. As a key member of our clinical department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the growth and development of our nursing team.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor/Manager and/or Director to provide first-line direction and support to the clinical staff and workflow.
  • Assist internal and external customers in providing patient care within the scope of practice outlined by the California Board of Vocational Nursing.
  • Participate in the orientation/training of new employees and contribute to the hiring/evaluation process.
  • Support the clinical department in achieving its goals and objectives, while maintaining a patient-focused and whole-person care approach.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program at a vocational school or college.
  • California Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 2 years Experience as an LVN in an ambulatory or acute care setting; 4 years preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year Experience in a leadership role.
  • IDX and Touchworks experience.
