Position Overview

The C&S Facilities Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in our Orlando or Syracuse office. This is a great opportunity for an individual to help grow our facilities practice.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform structural engineering calculations, edit specifications, and prepare design drawings.
  • Familiarity with building codes and engineering design requirements.
  • Develop construction drawings using Revit and provide technical guidance to structural Revit designers.
  • Assist in developing project structural requirements, conducting field surveys, and developing construction documents.
  • Coordinate with other design disciplines in the delivery of structural designs.
  • Perform services during construction, including responding to RFI's, reviewing submittals, and performing field observations.
  • Utilize safe work practices in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 0-5 years of related experience, including skills in structural design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
  • Experience with Revit highly desired.
  • Beneficial prior project experience on healthcare, entertainment/hospitality, government, aviation, and/or industrial projects.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and works well in a team environment.
  • Occasional travel as part of project delivery may be required.

Estimated Compensation Range: $74,000-90,000/year

Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location, and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
