We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IP Supervisor to join our team at Haywood Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily staffing assignments and levels, providing direction and guidance to staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and levels
- Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff
- Perform or assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
- Assess and ensure quality of services delivered and facilitate staff development programs
- Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols
- Perform staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels
- Lead the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints
- Graduate of an approved program of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy license in the State of North Carolina
- Five (5) years of clinical experience and two (2) years of supervisory experience
