  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Job Specific Duties:
    • Repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of dies to ensure optimal performance.
    • Collaborate with the production department to resolve tooling issues and improve efficiency.
    • Study blueprints, sketches, and specifications to plan and execute operations.
    • Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and alignments.
    • Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, and bench grinders to manufacture and repair parts.
    • File, grind, shim, and adjust parts to ensure proper fit and function.
    • Experience working with large progressive, transfer, and deep draw dies is highly desirable.
    • Cut, shape, and trim blanks or blocks to specified lengths or shapes.
    • Rework damaged components in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Troubleshoot problems to determine effective solutions.
  • Qualifications and Education:
    • A high school education or equivalent with at least three years of experience in die repair or a related technical field.
    • Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend safety, operating, and maintenance documents and procedures.
    • Ability to obtain/retain certifications for Industrial Powered Lift Truck, Overhead Crane, and Lock Out/Tag Out Authorization.
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
