At Christus Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Radiopharmaceutical Imaging Specialist to join our team. This is a PRN position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual who can perform diagnostic medical imaging procedures utilizing radiopharmaceutical and medical imaging equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and performing these procedures while adhering to professional and departmental protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet expectations of OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
  • Adhere to standards for radiation safety and waste separation and disposal of radioactive agents
  • Document daily calibrations, dose calibrator accuracy checks, and other tasks as mandated by Federal, State, and Hospital policies
  • Practice safe handling of radio nuclides and radiation safety procedures
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established procedures
  • Perform periodic quality control tests and document according to Hospital policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate adherence to the CORE Values of CHRISTUS Health
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have a strong educational background in Radiology Technology or an equivalent field. We also require 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting, with 2 years of experience in a clinical Radiology setting preferred. You must hold current State Licensure, BLS (American Heart Association), and Nuclear Medicine Technologist registration from ARRT or NMTCB.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
