About the Job

">

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing diagnostic medical imaging procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and medical imaging equipment.

You will work closely with physicians to provide high-quality diagnostic images that help identify and treat various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

">
  • Meet expectations of applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders">
  • Adhere to standards for radiation safety and waste separation/disposal of radioactive agents">
  • Document daily calibrations, flood films, dose calibrator accuracy checks, hot lab area surveys, dispensed pharmaceuticals, and radioactive source disposal">
  • Practice safe handling of radio nuclides and radiation safety procedures">
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed by physicians">
  • Perform periodic quality control tests, documenting according to Hospital policies and procedures">
  • Demonstrate adherence to CHRISTUS Health's CORE Values">
  • Perform other duties as assigned">

Requirements

">
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required">
  • 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting required">
  • 2 years of experience in a clinical Radiology setting preferred">
  • Current State Licensure required">
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) required">
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist registration from ARRT or NMTCB required">
