Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a well-established 131-bed community facility that has been serving the healthcare needs of the local communities for over a century. Our hospital has a rich history of providing quality care since its inception in 1890.

Role Responsibilities:

The Clinical Nurse Specialist is accountable for the comprehensive delivery of safe and effective patient care through the nursing process, which includes:

  • Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patient conditions.
  • Planning: Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
  • Implementation: Execute care plans while ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Evaluation: Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as necessary.

This role also involves guiding and educating patients and their families, as well as overseeing the activities of nursing staff to maintain high standards of care within the Oncology Unit.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Previous experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
  • Certification as a Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN-BC) or equivalent is advantageous.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
