Help Clients Experience a Modern Alternative to Employee Benefits

At World Insurance Associates, our Employee Benefits team helps clients build a capital-efficient and employee-centric program designed to mitigate their unique exposures. Using modern approaches, our highly technical team utilizes data and forensic underwriting to drive superior financial outcomes while helping clients attract, retain, and motivate talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, solicit, and close new business opportunities for the company.
  • Generate an ongoing list of prospects and utilize various methods to contact them, including cold calls, prospecting emails, mail, professional associations, and networking.
  • Identify opportunities to bring all of World's solutions to clients beyond employee benefits and enjoy the financial rewards of doing so.
  • Identify exposures, make recommendations, and create custom programs to eliminate gaps in coverage.
  • Maintain client relationships and retention of accounts through agency renewal workflows.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in an insurance brokerage or carrier.
  • Personable and highly motivated to grow personal success with excellent listening skills and a strong customer focus.
  • Consultative and bring a positive and resourceful approach to dealing with prospective clients and associates.
  • Experienced using Employee Benefits and Sales software platforms such as BenefitPoint and HubSpot.
  • Work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members.
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior, and effort to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and maintain a sense of urgency with the ability to work with and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to actively listen, strong attention to detail, and problem solve with minimal assistance.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Use discretion surrounding sensitive information.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
