We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director for our OB/GYN Residency program at Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the residency program, providing oversight and organization for the activities of the program, and ensuring compliance with accrediting bodies.
Responsibilities- Administer the residency program and provide oversight and organization for the activities of the program.
- Assign clinical rotations and staff appointments of attending physicians on teaching services.
- Implement policies and procedures related to the residency program.
- Plan scheduling and back-up support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies.
- Develop and maintain the evaluation programs for faculty, residents, interns, and medical students.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with institutions of higher learning for the advancement of firm initiatives.
- MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.
- 3 years of experience in the respective field required. 10 years of experience preferred.
- 2 years of leadership or management experience required. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
