Job Description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders. You will develop personalized treatment plans, provide therapy sessions, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose individuals with communication and swallowing disorders to identify effective treatment strategies.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  • Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills, utilizing specialized technology and software related to speech-language pathology.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans, promoting seamless coordination of care.
  • Educate patients and their families on effective communication strategies, empowering them to participate in their care.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Prior experience in diagnosing and treating communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and patients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in utilizing specialized technology and software related to speech-language pathology.
