Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at Domino's Franchise. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our products to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver pizzas and other items to residential and commercial locations on assigned routes.
  • Inspect vehicle before deliveries to ensure safety and quality.
  • Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs and expectations.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service during high-volume, fast-paced operations.
  • Communicate clearly and positively with management and team members to ensure seamless delivery operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business and build customer loyalty.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with store and dispatcher to prioritize efficient routing and minimize delays.
  • Handle currency and credit transactions quickly and accurately.
  • Follow procedures for safe food preparation, assembly, and presentation to ensure quality and food safety.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through friendly interactions and consistent appreciation.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Take initiative to find extra tasks when scheduled duties are complete to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Assemble and fold boxes, affix labels and promotional materials as needed.
  • Assist with prep work and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Read order slips or receive verbal instructions to prepare orders according to specifications.
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
  • Adhere to all quality standards, principles, guidelines, and policies to ensure exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Be at least 18 years old with 2 years of driving experience.
  • Possess a valid state driving license.
  • Have use of a properly maintained, licensed, and street-legal vehicle capable of driving upwards of 100 miles per day.
  • Maintain minimal or higher insurance coverage as mandated by state law.
  • Ability to pass applicable Company Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and background checks.
  • Possess a cell phone to use for calling customers.
  • Be capable of reading a map, locating addresses, and interpreting Global Positioning System (GPS) directions within designated delivery area.
  • Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interactions with management and customers.
  • Superb ability to multitask.
  • Ability to function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Must be able to make correct monetary change.
