Role Summary:

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to oversee and conduct testing of electrical components and systems for various applications. Experience with high voltage testing and control systems is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Troubleshooting: Engage in the analysis, root-cause determination, and resolution of reliability issues in drive controls. Collaborate with design engineers to implement effective corrective measures.
  2. Data Analysis: Gather and evaluate test data utilizing MATLAB and Excel, identify patterns, and produce comprehensive test reports. Offer suggestions for design enhancements based on analytical findings.
  3. Collaboration: Assist senior engineers in assessing concepts and developing detailed designs for controllers.
  4. Test Planning: Formulate test plans and associated components (layouts, stands, fixtures, etc.) that align with the proposed strategy for validating power electronics and analyzing field failures.
  5. Test Execution: Perform functional, environmental, and reliability assessments of power electronic components and systems using a variety of testing instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, probes, sensors).
  6. Documentation: Ensure meticulous documentation of all testing protocols, manuals, results, and modifications throughout the product lifecycle.
  7. Process Improvement: Continuously refine testing methodologies and procedures to boost efficiency, precision, and consistency of test outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large-scale electrical components such as transformers, capacitors, and circuit breakers.
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems and electronic measurement tools.
  • Understanding of control logic functions and their interactions with major electrical components.
  • Hands-on experience with high power and medium voltage systems.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and/or C/C++ software development.
  • Knowledge of electric machines and power electronics.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
