Position Overview

Lehighton Ambulance Association is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with a focus on flexibility in assignments. We are a dynamic organization committed to delivering exceptional patient care through a dedicated team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

As an EMT, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality emergency medical services to patients in various settings.
  • Collaborating with fellow healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emergency protocols and procedures.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Current PA EMT Certification with EMSVO endorsement.
  • Completion of NIMS courses 100, 700, and 800.
  • Certification as a BLS Provider in CPR.
  • Training in PHTLS and HAZMAT Awareness.
  • Completion of EVOC training.
Additional Training

Preferred candidates will also have completed:

  • Excited Delirium training.
  • Narcan Administration training.
  • Glucometer usage training.
  • CPAP training.
  • Familiarity with the 2023 BLS Protocol Updates.
