Our kitchen team plays a critical role in delivering on this promise, and we are looking for a talented and dedicated Executive Sous Chef to lead our culinary efforts.
About the Position
This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, food preparation, and presentation. They will also be expected to develop and implement new recipes and menu items, and lead by example, demonstrating high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in the kitchen.
Key Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A culinary arts diploma or certification (a plus)
- At least 2+ years of supervisory and human resource management skills
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation and presentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work all days, nights, weekends, and holidays
