Job Summary

Dreison International Inc is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to lead our product development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with the ability to effectively manage multiple complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new product designs and product improvement efforts, managing product development progress through various stages including prototype development, testing/validation, certification, material/labor costing, and production methodology.
  • Responsible for the initiation, implementation, and completion of specific project management activities as assigned.
  • Write project plans, determine and meet project deadlines and resources for projects.
  • Coordinate closely with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality Control, and Customer Service, as well as outside suppliers, designers, and technicians throughout all stages of product design and improvement processes.
  • Submit proposals considered feasible to the Director of Engineering for consideration and allocation of funds.
  • Develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring projects, including preparation of records of expenditures and research findings, progress reports, and communications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred; candidates with an Associate's Degree and experience considered.
  • Minimum 2+ years of product engineering and project management experience required.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple large complex projects.
  • Hands-On work environment; experience with automotive/truck upgrades, customization, maintenance experience a plus.
  • Experience designing metal and plastic components preferred.
  • Must be proficient in SolidWorks.
  • Ability to effectively analyze and solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbal, English necessary.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, prioritize, and execute work activities.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
